In Progress: What is Science, Really?

Most high school and even low-level introductory college courses start the semester with a discussion on what “science” is, often with mention of the scientific method, and so on.  This short e-book (e-pamphlet?) will cover both science as it can be under specific situations (i.e. the scientific method) as well as how scientists use basic principles of investigation in modern scientific research.  We also look at independent research projects for students, such as science fairs, and how to get the most out of them.  It’s not always the most complicated or technologically complex projects that win!
