About Us

We are a small group of writers, editors, and illustrators with the common goal of promoting science education through the publication of low-cost but comprehensive textbooks in a variety of biology and health related areas.  These are offered in several electronic formats both here on this site as well as through ebookstores such as amazon.com’s Kindle store, Google’s Android Market, and the iTunes store.

Our current offerings are a college-level Cell and Molecular Biology textbook designed to be appropriate for both an introductory and an advanced course, and a Sexual Health book that frankly but comprehensively addresses the major issues of sexual health for adolescents and young adults.

The Editor-in-Chief here at Axolotl Academic Publishing is a former professor of biology, who did postdoctoral training at Harvard University and Tufts University, after obtaining degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Case Western Reserve University.  Together, the permanent and consulting partners at Axolotl Academic Publishing have experience educating not only students from elementary school to graduate school, but also the lay public in matters of science and technology.
